Santorini Island, Greece. 26th February, 2015. Santorini vineyard is one of the oldest vineyard in Europe, with about a 3.000 year old root system. The vines are cultivated in a shape of a basket like bird nests so the grapes are protected of the strong winds and the strong sunlight. The tilth has been done manually during February, mostly from the oldest winegrowers of the island.
